Overall, no complaints. CSR was very helpful on how the policy worked.
Pre-existing conditions are very confusing when you miss the initial waiver eligibility period.

Not sure my answers reflect my feelings about the claim. I love Seven Corners! I filed a claim on line and categorized it as "Trip Interruption". I spoke with a rep who said this was right. I may not have explained the situation well. I know the last time I filed a similar claim (no, not trying to make a habit of this! It's the airlines!), it was "Trip Delay". I don't think I saw that option on line or missed it. Anyway, the claim was denied. Subsequently, I spoke with a rep who advised me to just reply to the denial letter requesting the claim be reviewd as a "trip delay". I have done this and hope it is satisfied. TBD.
It was an easy process. Would be good if policies indicated if they could be extended.
This was absolutely horrendous on all fronts from an insurance perspective. I had to make a claim because my trip was interrupted due to the Ebola outbreak in Uganda and my claim was denied for a hyper-technical and nonsensical reason. The fact of the matter is that Ebola is still present in Uganda so I could not go on the trip - full stop. This is the exact reason that I bought the insurance coverage in the first place. I wanted to be protected from medical issues like contracting a rare virus. The fact that the Ebola outbreak was not a thing when I bought the coverage and it was very much a thing when my trip was planned should be grounds enough to pay out on the claim for my deposit. Pointing to stupid clauses that don't actually make any sense in the grand scheme of why people buy coverage in the first place is not helpful to this process and is just a loophole for the insurance company to exploit so they don't have a pay a claim. I'm VERY unsatisfied with this experience. There was absolutely no reason for me to buy this insurance if this was the way claims were going to be handled. I'm not compromising my health by going to Uganda and potentially contracting Ebola and bringing it back to the US. That makes no sense. I think the insurance company should have taken the severity of the situation into account and they clearly did NOT do anything of the sort. Awful!
We always use Squaremouth to purchase travel policies due to ease of comparing policies (at detail level) and obtaining quotes quickly. We rely on ratings also. But, fortunately we've never had to utilize the insurance coverage.
No real feedback yet. Maybe something after we get through the claim process.

We had a very great experience with Seven Corners. The customer service people were very pleasant and very helpful as we worked through the process. The turnaround time was very quick. The process is complete.
Thank you and Seven Corners so much!

My visa to PNG was never valadated by PNG so I was unable to go on the trip .I called prior to my scheduled depature ,however was told they would not be refunding any amount of my premium. The company had no liability but all of my premium.
Husband hospitalized after visiting emergency room. Seven Corners helpful up until the point of hospitalization when Seven Corners insurance became secondary. Agent was working on guarantee of payment after we sent all of the documents she requested. Said she would back to us within the hour. We waited and didn't hear. We contacted her back after 1 1/2 hours and found that she was gone for the day. I emailed later about that issue but never heard a response. On the chart I looked at about the Seven Corners policy, it doesn't mention that emergency coverage becomes secondary upon admission. We paid out of pocket for stay as our primary requires. Now are in the process of filing for reimbursement. I will need help from you to see if Seven Corners will cover deductibles and interruption of trip or any other reimbursement available,
Fortunately, I didn't have to make a claim; however, I was pleased with the entire process regarding purchasing the travel insurance policy. Though I did purchase the policy online, I did call several times to get clarification on policy options and aspects of the policy. The reps I spoke with both at Squaremouth and Seven Corners were very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt the coverage was extensive and the policy was reasonably priced. I would purchase from them again.
